Once every 30 years feels about right

One of my first projects as a chess journalist was editing the quarterly newsletter for the Chess Journalists of America in 1990. Here’s how long ago that was: It was printed on a small offset press, I set the type on a Compugraphic Editwriter, and pasted up the artboards with wax.

I resumed working for the CJA as an editor again, but now it’s chessjournalism.org, and restoring that from 404 is where I’ve been all December.
